Abstract (en)
The retainer has a cylindrical section (20) where a spring (14) and a contact unit (16) are inserted. The contact unit is axially movable in the section. The retainer is provided in a housing, and a contact pin is provided in a housing so that the contact unit serves as a contact for the pin to make an electrical connection. The retainer is bent at its end (26), where movement of the contact unit is limited by the bent end. An independent claim is also included for a spring contact with a spring to make electrical connection in a vehicle.
