[origin: WO2006018395A1] The invention relates to an X-ray device (1) provided with an effective scattered ray protection device (20) that is easy to handle. Said X-ray device (1) comprises an X-ray emitter (2), an image receiver (3) arranged in a radiation direction (9) at a distance from the X-ray emitter, and a patient's bed (4) arranged between the X-ray emitter (2) and the image receiver (3). The relative position of the X-ray emitter (2) and the image receiver (3) in relation to the patient's bed (4) can be adjusted in at least one spatial direction (16,17). The scattered ray protection device (20) can be fixed, as a reference object, in a fixed relative position in relation to the image receiver (3) and/or the x-ray emitter (2), by means of a coupling unit (21), in such a way that when the reference object (3) is adjusted in relation to the patient's bed (4), the scattered ray protection device (20) is entrained with the reference object (3).
