[origin: WO2006016022A1] The invention relates to a multipurpose magnetic device for simultaneously immobilising an object on a magnetic or ferro-magnetic surface and for grasping an object. Said device comprises a lever arm (2) and a magnetic surface (1) separated by a pivoting line (3). Said magnetic surface makes it possible to fix the device to a working surface or another object or to the other magnetic semi-clamp. The inventive device is particularly usable for fixing objects to a working surface, in particular to a large-sized working surface or to a magnetic board.
