According to said method, in a first step, a gas containing oxygen is compressed in a compressor (13, 14) of the gas turbine (12); in a second step, the compressed gas is supplied to a combustion chamber (15), with addition of fuel, in view of a combustion; in a third step, the hot waste gas from the combustion chamber (15) is expanded in a turbine (16) of the gas turbine (12), under the effect of work output; and in a fourth step, a branched-off partial current of the expanded waste gas is redirected into a part of the gas turbine (12) located upstream of the combustion engine (15), and compressed.
