[origin: WO2006005541A1] The invention relates to a plastic, electric plug housing (1), comprising a cover (2) which is used to close at least one housing opening (3) on the side of the plug housing (1). The aim of the invention is to improve said type of electric plug housing (1) in relation to the handling thereof during mounting and adding conductors. According to the invention, the cover (2) is connected in a single-piece to the plug housing (1) by means of at least one predetermined breaking point (4) prior to the first closing of the housing opening (3). The plastic, electric plug housing, which is embodied in a single piece, comprises a moulded cover, which can be handled when mounting the corresponding electric, plug housings which are provided with a cover which is connected by means of a film hinge, without requiring a film hinge.
