The spacer (1) is arranged between a stayer (9) of a guidance mechanism and a guide bar of the guidance mechanism. The spacer has two identical half shells. Each half shell has a curved section. The curved section is circle-arc-shaped and curved to each half shell. At the ends of the curved section two sides are provided.
