Abstract (en)
The pan has a main tank (11) that is placed at proximity of an oil pump and with volume limited by travel of connecting rods (20). The main tank is fed back by oil returning from a crankshaft/connecting rod assembly. An additional tank (12) is placed outward from the rods and fed by oil returning from engine bottom by simple gravity through a duct (121). The tank (12) comprises an overflow device (122) for transferring oil towards the main tank.
