[origin: WO2006017948A1] The invention relates to a spindle (10) for an air jet spinning machine, which comprises an injector channel (1) leading to the immediate vicinity of the spindle opening (8), thereby allowing to return (B) the yarn end when the spinning process was interrupted. In order to return the yarn end, pressurized air is supplied through the injector channel (1) and generates a suction effect at the spindle end (11). Once the yarn end is returned (B) to the level of inlet of the injector channel (1) into the yarn guiding channel (5), the pressurized air blows out the yarn end from the spindle opening (8).
