[origin: US7438092B2] A loom, especially an air jet loom for producing a leno cloth with integrated patterning includes a weaving reed and first and second shed forming devices. The first shed forming device includes a pivotable reed as a first guide arrangement for guiding and shedding leno warp threads, and an upright reed as a second guide arrangement for guiding and shedding ground warp threads, to form leno bindings. The second shed forming device includes a third guide arrangement for guiding and shedding patterning warp threads, to form pattern bindings. The third guide arrangement is arranged between the first shed forming device and the weaving reed.
