[origin: WO2006008424A2] The invention relates to a device for addressing an electrode array comprising 2<SUP>n </SUP>lines of an electro-fluidic device, whereby each line contains N electrodes (n<u><N</u>). The inventive device comprises: on each line, n selection electrodes (Esl - i), whereby all of said line selection electrodes are connected to 2n line selection conductors (Cl, Cl', C2, C2', C3, C3') and 2<SUP>n-1</SUP> line selection electrodes of 2 <SUP>n-1</SUP> lines are connected to each line selection conductor; and selection means (Rsl-k, Rsl-k') which are used to select one or more line selection conductors.
