[origin: WO2006024746A1] The invention relates to an aircraft display system (1A). The inventive system consists of: a display device (2) comprising information sources (3) which contain information relating to the aircraft and the surrounding environment; information-processing means (4) which can construct an image of the aircraft environment using the information from the information sources (3) and which construct a three-dimensional synthesis image in order to display the position of the aircraft and the environment through which the aircraft is moving, including the terrain to be flown over, said synthesis image being coherent at least with information relating to another display, e.g. a two-dimensional display; and display means (6) which display the synthesis image on at least one area (9A) of a display screen (7).
