Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006021626A1] The invention concerns a method for reducing the size of raw or previously compressed data of a digital file from an audio and/or video source. It comprises an operational sequence including a step of desynchronizing original reading criteria of the file, said step involving the compression and the compacting of preserved data and a step of resynchronizing the desynchronized file enabling it to be viewed and/or read based on its original criteria of resolution and duration.
