Abstract (en)
The device has pressure source which is formed by an electromagnetic driven pump (5), which is connected on suction side with the engine cooling system (2) across a pipe having the installed valve that can be switched to outlet in the event of a fire and also connected on pressurizing side with the pipe (13) leading to the spray nozzle. An independent claim is included for method for fighting against fires in engine compartment.
