Abstract (en)
The box has a collector plate (26) provided with reception openings (28) for inserting heat exchanging tubes (18), and a distribution plate (38) delimiting chambers closed by a cover (44). The collector plate (26) is an embossed sign plate and includes an outer face (56) from which collars (58) extend for receiving the tubes. The distribution plate has a plane lower face (62) contacting with a plane inner face (54) of the collector plate by forming an intake stop for the tubes, where the collector plate and the distribution plate are in mutual contact by the plane faces. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a collector box.
