Abstract (en)
A security device, comprising a screen (13.1) blocking a transmission channel (7a, 7b) between an initiator and a pyrotechnic charge, has the screen made in the form of at least one micro-machined or micro-engraved element mounted on or forming part of a substrate plate. The plate is positioned so that it is parallel to the transmission channel, with the initiator and pyrotechnic charge on opposite sides of its thickest section. The transmission channel itself has a cross-section of 1 mm 2>or less while being greater that the pyrotechnic charge's primer surface. The screen is moved, e.g. by a micro-spring (15.1) or micro-electric vibration motor.
