[origin: WO2006018033A1] The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising from 40 to 70 % by weight of bisphosphonic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and from 30 to 60 % by weight of excipients, said excipients comprising a diluent selected from the group consisting of cellulose derivatives, starch and inorganic phosphates as well as to a tablet formed with such composition and a process for the formulation of such tablet.
