[origin: WO2006024804A1] The invention relates to a temporary intermediate closure stop (1) for an opening element (2), such as a door on a fixed chassis part (3) of a motor vehicle, the opening element (2) comprising a housing for a lock and the fixed part comprising at least one threaded hole for fixing a catch. The stop comprises a body (10) made from a plastic material, provided with means (13,14) for mounting in said threaded hole and a support means (110) against a first edge (21b) of the housing (21), a braking means, for braking a second edge (21a) of the housing on closing the opening and a retaining means (15), embodied to face the second edge of the housing within the same and to retain the door in a temporary intermediate position. According to the invention, the body (10) is made up of a first part, below which the mounting means (13,14) are fixed and a second part of the same material as the first part with a flexible arm (11) having the perpendicular branch (110) in the principal plane of the body as stop means and as braking means and retaining means for the parallel branch (111) in the principal plane of the body on the end of which a roller (15) is pivotably mounted.
