Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1782891A2] The method involves displacement of the curtain coating heads (1a,1b) laterally towards the web. The offset-sensor (6) identifies a loop-offset of the web (w) and the position of the curtain coating heads in lateral direction is so controlled by the signals from offset-sensor, that the loop-offset of the curtain coating heads corresponds with the loop-offset of the web. An independent claim is also included for the device for double layer color coating.
