The method involves unwinding of thread (30), which is to be unwound by the color spools (4), over a defined length with a winding speed. The winding speed lies below the winding speed provided for the thread which is to be rewound. The unwinding is done at the beginning or at the end of the rewinding. An independent claim is included for the textile machine for manufacturing cross-wound spools.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Umspulen von Färbespulen (4) auf Kreuzspulen (11) auf einer eine Mehrzahl von Spulstellen (2) aufweisenden Textilmaschine, wobei zu Beginn und/oder am Ende des Umspulens der von den Färbespulen (4) umzuspulende Faden (30) über eine definierte Länge hinweg mit einer Spulgeschwindigkeit abgespult wird, die unterhalb einer für den umzuspulenden Faden (30) vorgesehenen Spulgeschwindigkeit liegt.
