[origin: WO2006027434A2] The invention relates to a selection device (20) for an element among a list of elements on a graphic user interface (INT) for display on a screen (2), comprising a means for navigation in the list and a validation means (11) for said selected element, characterised in that the navigation means comprises a touch strip (10), with touch navigation zones (B, C) arranged to both sides of a central neutral zone (A), which permits by means of maintaining a point of contact in said touch navigation zones to run continuously through the list, in one direction or the other, the speed of the running increasing with the distance of the point of contact from the central neutral zone.
