Quality control system has image processing unit which is designed to determine coordinates of an error on print substrate e.g. X-Y coordinates, which identify position of the error on the print substrate. A control computer (2) is provided for controlling a labeling and marking device for individual uses during the print process by the printing machine. The allocation of the error is executable to an individual use, while a comparison takes place with a data set of the use contour and use distribution on the printed sheet in the control computer of the labeling and marking device. An independent claim is also included for the method for operation of quality control system.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Qualitätskontrollsystem in einer Druckmaschine mit einem Inspektionssystem, das eine Kamera zur Aufnahme eines Druckbildes auf einem Bedruckstoff mit mehreren Nutzen enthält. Die aufgenommenen Daten des Druckbildes werden mit einer Bildverarbeitungseinrichtung verarbeitet zur Fehlerermittlung mit einem Referenzdatensatz. Zur flexibleren Einsetzbarkeit und zur Erhöhung der Wirtschaftlichkeit ist vorgesehen, dass das Bildverarbeitungssystem die Koordinaten eines Fehlers auf dem Bedruckstoff ermittelt. Mittels der Fehlerkoordinaten steuert ein Ansteuerungsrechner eine Beschriftungs- und/oder Markierungseinrichtung zur Beschriftung oder Markierung von einzelnen Nutzen während des Drucklaufs an.
