Abstract (en)
The material feed (11) control system for an incinerator (10), for disposal of rubbish and sludge, establishes at least one parameter for comparison with a nominal value. The combustion material is throttled in steps according to whether the parameter value is over or under the nominal value. The parameter registered can be the pressure, temperature, the O 2 content, the volume flow of secondary air and/or recirculation gas. The control action is effected through a pyrometer.
