Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1785949A2] The device (8) has a plenum (7) that is filled with individual coins and is formed by a part of a carriage (29), which is linearly moveable along a frame-like sorting pattern (35). The sorting pattern has a cascade longitudinal edge (60) extending in a direction of movement of the plenum, where steps (51 - 58) of the longitudinal edge are adjusted with respect to its height of different coin diameters.
