Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006024245A1] The invention relates to a device for a signal generator of an illuminating signal system comprising triggered intensive illuminating means, which cover an emerging phantom light which is visible to the human eye, by altering the luminance. The intensive illuminating means (6 - 6x) of a signal generator (2; 3; 4) are arranged in a surrounding manner and at a distance on a transparent ring (7) and the distance (8) between, respectively, two adjacent intensive illuminating means (6 - 6a) on the transparent ring (7) is determined according to the radiation angle of the intensive illuminating means (6 - 6x) in such a manner that the light cones (9 - 9') of the respective adjacent intensive illuminating means (6 - 6x) are illuminated. The transparent ring (7) is fixed inside a signal generator (2; 3; 4) and behind the covering (12; 12'; 12'') in the region of the maximum illuminating field diameter (11) of the signal generator (2; 3; 4). The illumination intensity of the intensive illuminating means (6 - 6x) can be reduced according to the intensity of the solar radiation and the intensive illuminating means (6 - 6x) of a transparent ring (7) incorporated into an illuminating signal system (1) can be controlled in a separated manner according to the switched signal generator (2; 3; 4) by means of a common control circuit (13).
