[origin: EP1787814A2] The dampening fluid (12) is held in a tank (10). Two suction heads (16,18) on the surface (14) of the fluid are connected (20,22) to a control valve (24). A further line (26) connects the valve to a suction pump (28). The output line (30) from the pump goes to a separator (32) with a line (34) going to the paper dampening device. A second output line (36) returns fluid to the tank.
