[origin: EP1787915A1] The container is made from a flat panel, cut and folded to accommodate a bottle (20) with wedging sections for the bottle base and neck. The cut-out panel is folded to create two vertical side walls (2, 2') and a raised base (3b). The wedging section for the base of the bottle comprises hole (5) in the raised base with its edge cut to form a series of flexible tabs. The wedging section for the bottle neck consists of a similar but smaller hole (6) in a separate square (4) that is attached by lugs (8, 8') to slots (7, 7') in the upper ends of the side walls at heights to suit different bottles. Variants of the design can have sides made from folded panel sections for extra protection.
