The electric motor has a rotor (24) coupled or which can be coupled with the rotating components regarding rotary drive and an motor support arranged relative to frame or directly or indirectly to frame of the machine or the machine section against rotation of supported stator. Machine or machine section in form of a dryer part of machine has the electric motor which is operated as synchronous motor. The electric motor is arranged coaxially to the rotating component in correlation to an axial end area. The rotor is actually free of play of entire rotation or rotary drive connection is coupled or can be coupled directly torque proof with rotating components.
