Abstract (en)
A bearing disk has a polymeric tire (2), which provides the running surface, mounted on a polymeric hub (1). The hub has a metallized surface coating (5) in the gap (4) between the hub and tire and the coating extends over the sides (7, 8) of the hub. Optionally the hub can have a bush where it fits over an axle, the bush being made of a hard, tough plastic or of metal.
