Abstract (en)
The appliance has a housing, and a linearly movable component mounted for linear movement with respect to the housing. A drive band (12) is connected to the component where the drive band is perforated and is driven by the motor by the units of pinion (29), which is partially covered by a cover. A drum is provided for holding a laundry, and a duct system for conducting an air stream. The duct system has a falling section located downstream from the drum and in which the air stream is conducted in a downward direction and in which a filter for capturing lint from the air stream is arranged. An independent claim is also included for a clothes dryer comprising a housing.
