[origin: EP1788258A2] The valve has a valve housing (1) with a supply pipe (4) and a delivery pipe (5). An externally controlled proportional valve (2) between the supply pipe and the delivery pipe is arranged in the housing. The proportional valve is connected in series with a control gate valve (3) between the supply pipe and the delivery pipe. The control gate valve is formed from a serial connection that is integrated into the housing. The serial connection exhibits a constant orifice plate (3a) and an adjusting orifice plate (3b).
