[origin: DE102004039118B3] The electrofilter has a first turbulence chamber (1) with a flue gas inlet (2) and a flushing air inlet (8) that is designed so that inflowing flue gas sucks in flushing air and that has a tubular outlet (5). It has a filter electrode arrangement (6) held by an insulator (7) arranged in a flushing air flow. A second turbulence chamber connected to the tubular outlet is designed so that particles in the flue gas are deposited in it and has a flue gas outlet (4) for the flue gas from which the particles have been removed.
