Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006041361A1] A wheel-supported house comprising a chassis having wheels, which carries a house, the house having a substantially vertical wall (34) having a substantially rectangular wall opening (4) having a substantially horizontal lower edge (42) , a box displaceably received in the wall opening, which box comprises a bottom wall (61), the size of which substantially corresponds to the size of the wall opening (4), and side walls (62-65) that are perpendicular to the bottom wall (61) as well as mutually perpendicular and adjacent to the respective edges of the wall opening (4) of the house. Two horizontally directed, parallel supporting beams (8) extend perpendicular to the house wall (34) having the wall opening (4) and are connected to this house wall (34) and a house wall (35) substantially parallel thereto. The beams (8) extend in vertical plane near the vertical side walls (63, 65) of the box (6) . Each beam (8) carries a wheel-supported carriage (72) having an supporting arm (73) that protrudes into the box (61), which arm is adjacent to a respective vertical side wall of the box (6) and is rigidly attached to the same, and the carriage (72) is arranged to carry the box for substantially horizontal motion through the wall opening (4) of the house (3) .
