[origin: WO2006029880A1] The invention relates to a sink accessory (126)(e.g. a cutting panel), which can be placed on a sink (100) and/or a sink provided with said type of sink accessory. The sink accessory comprises two different bearing surfaces (148, 170) which are arranged at a distance from each other on the periphery thereof and which are disposed at various heights in relation to the surface of the sink accessory. As a result, it is possible to place the same sink accessory selectively on various support surfaces of the same sink, on the support surfaces of various sinks or on the support surface of another sink accessory (e.g. a colander). According to the geometry, only the first bearing surface (148) is in contact with the sink in a first position, when the second bearing surface (170) is used as a contact surface in the second position.
