Abstract (en)
The boot (100) has an outer shell (120) for holding the foot, and a coupling part for fastening the boot in a binding. The shell is movably connected with the coupling part, such that the foot is lifted together with the shell in a heel area (125) by the coupling part and is again lowered, while carrying out a walking movement, when the coupling part is fastened in the binding. A locking device (132) is provided to lock the shell against the coupling part, such that the heel area of the shell is completely lowered to the coupling part or is connected with the coupling part. An independent claim is also included for a system comprising a boot and a binding.
