Abstract (en)
The structure (1) has covering modules (M1, M2) overlapping each other and linearly deployed to totally/partially cover an area to be sheltered. Connection units are mounted between the modules for automatic linear deployment of the modules after releasing a retaining unit of the modules in overlapped position. The retaining unit has a traction rope (13) wound using a manual or motorized winch (14). The connection units have articulated arms (7, 8) in combination with an elastic unit (9) e.g. spring, chosen to exert a pushing force for deployment of the arms.
