[origin: EP1790788A2] The plate shaped fire protection element (5) has a cover with armoring. A spacer (7) maintains a distance between fire protection elements and the wall or ceiling while in installed condition of the fire protection element. The spacer is made of plastic material in knob shape and the space provides ventilation. An independent claim is also included for the fire protection clothing.
