Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006032153A1] The invention relates to a inner housing (1) of a plug connector, for housing a ferrule (6) of a fibre-optic cable (5), comprising at least one lateral recess (4) and a recessed groove (8) in the back wall (7) of said inner housing (1). The recess (4) and groove (8) are embodied and of such a size that a ferrule (6) of an assembled fibre-optic cable (5) may be laterally introduced into the inner housing (1). The inner housing is provided with at least one spring element (9) serving for the axial positioning of the ferrule (6). Said spring element presses on the ferrule (6) and on the back wall (7) of the inner housing (1).
