[origin: WO2006027642A2] The invention relates to a lamp for a vehicle headlight featuring a dimmed function. Said lamp comprises an outer bulb (3) and a light-emitting zone (4) and emits at least visible light having different colors from several areas of the outer bulb (3). At least one partial coating (2) is disposed on the outer bulb in such a way that the region of the traffic space located below the light-dark threshold (F) can be illuminated with visible light having different colors in defined zones when the headlights are dimmed.
