Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1792657A1] The tubular vessel (1) includes an opening (5) at one end and a base at the other. On the internal wall (8) there is a holding zone. An introduction region (9) intervenes between opening and holding zone. The cover (14) has an internal stopper (19) for insertion into the vessel, where it forms a seal against a seat on the inner wall. A sliding ring (20) and a holding ring are situated on the periphery of the stopper. Relative to the holding zone, the sliding ring has a lower coefficient of friction than the holding region. It slides in and seats on the holding region, in the sealing position of the holding ring. The two rings have about the same diameter. The introduction region gradually widens toward the opening. The sliding ring is behind the holding ring, seen in the direction of insertion (E). The rings enter a part of the introduction region having increased diameter, when seated. Further geometrical detail of the vessel is provided. The sliding ring and/or introduction region are lubricated or themselves have a low coefficient of friction, facilitating introduction. Fluorinated material, e.g. polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) and/or polyethylene are employed. They are in different colors than the rest. The holding region is polypropylene and/or the holding ring is polypropylene. A solid hinge joins the cover to the vessel.
