[origin: EP1792861A2] Conveyor for a traveling web comprises an air-permeable endless belt (5) and ejectors (10, 11) for applying a vacuum to the upper strand of the belt to hold the web (2) on the belt. Each ejector comprises an air jet injector (12) with air outlet nozzles along the entry side of a slit (17, 18) and bypasses (41, 42) from the outside to the entry side.
