[origin: EP1793029A1] Machine for washing and/or drying clothes, especially of top loading horizontal axis type, comprising a housing with an access opening closed by a door, a tub (6) that has an opening (11) and surrounds a rotary drum, and a sleeve (12) between the access opening and the tub opening, comprises a sleeve with a fastener (13), one side of which is inserted into a U-shaped part of the sleeve that fits into a groove (14) in the tub. An independent claim is also included for assembling a sleeve as above in a washing and/or drying machine by inserting one side of the fastener into the U-shaped part of the sleeve, fitting the U-shaped part into the groove in the tub, and fixing the fastener onto the tub by means of clips that cooperate with the tub.
