Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1486626A2] The rooms are constructed using concrete double wall elements (16) placed on a reinforcement layer (14) of a concrete floor plate (10). The sealing has a support (22,26) for insertion into the floor plate, and a vertical long flat joint element (24). After erection and grouting of a double wall element, the joint element seals the joint between wall and base. The support consists of several concrete steel brackets (22) connected rigidly to each other in longitudinal direction of the joint element. The joint element has a coating to prevent water circulation and aid gluing to other joint elements. The coating is butyl rubber, bitumen, synthetically-modified bitumen, a synthetically-modified coating reacting with fresh concrete, or a coating with swelling capacity.
