Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1793160A1] The headlight, comprising a light source (2), a reflector (1), a lamp holder (3) and a cup (4) to ensure a seal between the lamp holder and housing, has the lamp holder made with a collar (32) and lugs (31) to engage with the threaded circular inner surface (42) of the cup. The lugs, preferably three in number, project from a cylindrical surround (33) and the collar acts as a stop. The lamp holder is made from pressed steel sheet with the lugs produced by cutting or stamping.
