Abstract (en)
The present invention concerns an interconnection device (1) for performing network address translation and redirecting a request to a destination device. The interconnection device (1) comprises a first interface (2) to a first network (10) a second interface (3) to a second network (11) routing means (4) for routing a packet between the first interface (2), the second interface (3) and the interconnection device (1), address translating means (5) for translating a source address of a packet coming from the first network (10) destined to the second network (11), and translating a destination address of a packet coming from the second network (11) destined to the first network (10), and means for detecting whether a request from a second device located on the second network is destined to itself or to a first device (12) located on the first network (10). The interconnection device (1) comprises redirecting means (6) for on detection of a request from the second device to access an application located on the first device (12), updating said address translation means, and indicating the modified destination address to the second device (13).
