[origin: WO2006034735A1] The invention relates to a freewheel with a positive engagement comprising an internal gear or toothed gear, which is connected to a first shaft and to which a torque is transmitted in a running direction when coupling elements (12, 202) having at least three, preferably more than eight teeth are in a blocking state while positively engaging, and the coupling elements enter a freewheeling state in the opposite direction, each coupling element being provided in the form of a revolving element and, to this end, is mounted in a manner that enables it to rotate about a rotation axis. According to the invention, the coupling elements (12, 202), when the limit rotational speed is exceeded, can be released from the blocking state either by centrifugal force against a spring force or by a frictional force exerted upon a contact pin (206) arranged in each coupling element (202) during a sliding movement along a circular path or upon a roll body (35) during a rolling movement on an annular surface (43).
