[origin: WO2006030152A1] The invention relates to a method for distribution of data in a multicast network, comprising at least one multicast group. The method comprises the application of a remote posting server for provision of useful data for one or more data receivers of use with relation to one or more data source servers, each source server being able to provide data to at least one multicast group. Said useful data may be subsequently read so that a choice of one or more of said servers may be established by selection means. The invention further relates to the posting server and the system for carrying out said method.
