Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006053793A1] The invention relates to a method for operating a beam-projection display device. According to said method, the beam-projection display device projects an image onto an image surface on a background by means of a light beam and said light beam constructs the image using a fixed plurality of pixels (xi) per line in a first horizontal direction over a fixed plurality of lines (yi) in a second vertical direction. A displacement state of the projected image and/or a displacement state of the beam-projection display device is determined in relation to the background and if the projected image and/or the beam-projection display device have been displaced in relation to the background, an expected image distortion, expansion and/or compression is determined and taken into consideration by adapting the image content of the lines and/or pixels in the first and/or second direction.
