Abstract (en)
A Nordic ski boot (5) binding (1) has a front element which locates on the front end of the sole (7a) and a rear fixing element (21) which engages with an edge (7b) on the front sole. A locking clamp (17) links the front and rear elements with the boot, allowing the heel to rise and fall without disengaging. The front fixing element clamps both sides of the sole, preventing lateral toe movement. The front fixing element incorporates an elastic pressure element (13) that presses the upper edge of the tip of the sole against the fixing element.
