[origin: EP1795308A2] The tool has a motor (6) located in a housing (4) driving an output (12) and a percussion mechanism (10). A chuck (20) receives a working tool (22) displaceable along a longitudinal axis (A). A locking mechanism (24) includes a locking member (26). An adjusting sleeve (34) prevents a radial displacement of the locking member from a locking position. A damping member (56) is provided between the output and a connection (30). The output includes a receptacle for receiving the damping member. The damping member is formed of an elastomeric material.
