Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1795347A2] The unit has a set of cooling rollers (1) that are embraced partially by a material web, where one of the rollers is an insulated roller with a cylindrical base plate (2), and an outer body (4) that guides a heat transfer medium. The outer body surrounds the base plate at its casing surface, where the base plate and the outer body are thermally insulated from each other. An outer surface of the outer body comprises a structuring. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a material web.
